Helping Our Heroes Get Back on the Ice
The Corporal Daegan Page Foundation is proud to announce a new Community Champion Grant for the Nebraska Warriors. We have awarded $1,800 to their hockey program to cover the cost of three months of ice time.
Why This Project Matters
The Nebraska Warriors is a special hockey team made up of military veterans. For many of these heroes, the transition back to civilian life can be a difficult journey. This program gives them a place to find:
Camaraderie: Being part of a team again helps veterans feel the same bond they had while serving.
Healing: Hockey is used as a form of therapy to help with both physical and mental health.
Belonging: It provides a safe space where teammates understand each other's experiences.
Honoring Daegan’s Legacy
Daegan Page loved the game of hockey. He knew that sports are about much more than just winning games. They are about the friends you make and the community that supports you. By funding ice time for the Nebraska Warriors, we are keeping Daegan’s spirit alive through the sport he loved most.
We are honored to support these brave men and women as they find strength and friendship on the ice.
