Building a Creative Future with The Bay
Corporal Daegan Page Foundation is proud to announce a $2,000 Community Champion Grant to support the growth of The Bay (formerly known as Rabble Mill) in Omaha. This organization is doing incredible work to give young people a safe place to grow, learn, and find their passions.
A New Home for Omaha Youth
The Bay has been a staple in Lincoln for years, and now they are expanding their reach in Omaha. This grant will help with their ongoing operations and their move into a permanent home in the Benson neighborhood. This new space will be more than just a building—it will be a "launchpad" for local kids and young adults.
The Bay offers amazing programs that help youth build real-world skills through things they already love, such as:
Skateboarding: Providing a safe, indoor place to stay active and learn perseverance.
Music and Digital Art: Giving kids access to studios and equipment to find their creative voices.
Workforce Training: Helping young adults prepare for future careers through mentorship and hands-on learning.
Why This Matters to Us
Supporting The Bay is a perfect fit for our foundation because it combines many of the things Daegan cared about. Daegan loved being active, he loved his community, and he loved seeing people have the chance to succeed.
By helping The Bay expand in Omaha, we are making sure more young people have a place where they feel like they belong. Whether they are learning a new trick at the skatepark or producing a song in the studio, these kids are building the confidence they need for a bright future.
