The Call to Service
The Corporal Daegan Page Foundation was built on the values of shared service, commitment, and community. These are the same values that define our military members. To ensure our programs remain deeply rooted in the needs of those we serve, we are looking for a veteran leader to join our Board of Directors.

What Does a Board Member Do?
-
Board members set the long term goals for the Foundation. You will help us decide which new programs to launch, how to allocate our resources, and how to stay true to our mission of supporting service members and their families.
-
One of the most important roles of a board member is fiduciary responsibility. You will review financial reports and budgets to ensure that every dollar donated to the Foundation is used ethically and effectively to honor Daegan’s legacy.
-
You will serve on at least one specialized committee, such as Program Development, Fundraising, or Governance. This is where the detailed work happens and where your specific veteran perspective will be most influential.
-
You are the face of the Foundation. Board members help us build connections with local businesses, other non-profits, and the military community. By sharing our mission within your own networks, you help us reach the people who need our support the most.
We currently have a board of eight dedicated members. To reach our full strength of nine, we are specifically seeking a second veteran representative.
We believe that those who have worn the uniform bring a level of understanding that cannot be taught. Your lived experience ensures that our programs are respectful, relevant, and grounded in the reality of military life. You help us speak the right language and ask the right questions.
